Last week, Regulatory and Quality Solutions participated in Cleveland Clinic’s 10th Annual Medical Innovation Summit – “Innovative to the Bone”! Each year, the Summit highlights different areas of specialization, with this year focusing on orthopaedics. It was our first year participating in the Summit, which brought together more than 1,100 executives, investors, entrepreneurs, and clinicians from around the world October 29th – October 31st.

On the 29th, RQS held an educational session for invited attendees of the Medical Innovation Summit. The educational session was led by Bob Marshall, Vice President, Nancy Morrison, Principal Specialist, and Steve Keverline, Operations Manager. Bob presented “Current State of the FDA,” Nancy discussed
“Orthapaedic Regulation Update,” and Steve concluded the session with “Avoiding Warning Letters – Embracing the Quality System Regulation.” The educational session was a huge success – great questions were asked, which led to great discussions on each topic.

The Summit closed with the final panel presentation, which was presented by a panel of Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists. The panel presented a list of “Top 10 Innovations” breakthrough devices and therapies for 2013.
